New interior wall framing with a door opening

Interior framing and drywall in Tampa Bay: Walls moved and openings framed, ready for a clean finish.

We build new interior walls, take out or open up walls that don't hold up the house, and put solid wood inside the wall wherever cabinets, TVs or grab bars will hang. Then we hang the drywall, so the finish starts on a straight wall.

Interior Framing & Drywall

Good trim starts with a straight wall.

Most trim problems start inside the wall: a bent stud, a doorway framed half an inch off. Because we also do the trim, we build the wall straight and sized for the door or cabinet that goes there.

We only work on walls that don't carry the weight of the house. When a wall does, an engineer and a licensed contractor have to be involved before anything is cut.

From the owner

You'll work with me from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

I spent years as the carpenter other companies sent in to finish the job, and I saw what goes wrong when the person who sells a project isn't the person who builds it.

I started Carpenter Bee to answer for the whole job, from the first measurement to the last adjustment.

All questions

Only if the wall doesn't carry the weight of the house, and that has to be confirmed by an engineer or a licensed contractor before anything is cut.

Outlets and switches are moved by a licensed electrician. We plan the layout with the electrician while the wall is open, so they land where the cabinets and trim need them.
