Hallway with tall paneled interior doors and brass levers

Interior door installation in Tampa Bay: Doors that close with a click, not a shove.

We hang new doors, fit them to openings that are rarely square and finish them with new trim and hardware. The gap around the door ends up even from top to bottom.

Interior Doors

A door shows every shortcut.

A door that rubs, swings open on its own or shows a crooked gap was hung crooked. We straighten the frame, screw the hinges into solid wood and shave the door down when the opening needs it.

Then the trim goes on with tight corners and the hardware is set with a guide, so every handle down the hall sits at the same height.

Weslei Fabri on site, working on a vaulted ceiling by the water

From the owner

You'll work with me from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

I spent years as the carpenter other companies sent in to finish the job, and I saw what goes wrong when the person who sells a project isn't the person who builds it.

I started Carpenter Bee to answer for the whole job, from the first measurement to the last adjustment.

All questions

Often, yes. If the frames are straight and solid, we fit new doors into them and keep the trim around them. If not, we install new doors that come already mounted in their own frame.

Yes, in walls that don't carry the weight of the house. We open the wall, build the pocket, hang the door and close the wall again.

We install the doors and hardware you pick. At the first visit we measure your openings, so you can order the right sizes.
