Estimates and pricing
Yes. The first visit and a price range cost nothing, and you're under no obligation.
It depends on the job. New baseboard for a whole house, a set of new doors and a room of custom cabinets are priced very differently. After the first visit we give you a realistic range, and before work starts, a written estimate.

Usually, yes. We agree on the dates before work starts, so you know which days we'll be in your home.
Weslei, the owner, is on every job. Electrical, plumbing and any work that needs a license is done by licensed trades.
Materials and quality
Trim and doors that will be painted are usually poplar or MDF, installed ready for paint. Where you want to see the wood grain, we use oak. Your cabinets come in the wood and finish you pick with your cabinet supplier. Cabinetry and installation.
Wood swells and shrinks with humidity. New cabinets, trim and doors should sit in the house, with the air conditioning running, before they go in, so they adjust to the air they will live in. When we install trim, the corners are cut to fit and glued, so they stay closed through the seasons.
